He has been selected as one of the Illinois Jaycees Top Outstanding Young Persons of 2024. \nThe CU Jaycees invite you to join us for our informal reception/social honoring our recipients at The Literary (122 N. Neil St) in Champaign on Monday May 20th from 6:30pm-8:30pm. The informal reception will be a chance to congratulate Jacob\, learn more about the CU Jaycees\, and network with others in the community. Light appetizers will be provided. \nDuring the social\, we will be collecting drive to support a local charity. More details on this soon.\nThis is the local reception to honor Jacob after receiving the TOYP Award at the Illinois Jaycees TYOP award ceremony on April 27 in Peoria. DESCRIPTION:The Champaign Urbana Jaycees hold monthly chapter meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 PM at the Champaign Public Library in the Robeson Pavilion Room C & online on Zoom . \nWe’ll be discussing upcoming projects for current members\, however all are welcome to attend to learn more about the Jaycees! \nThe Jaycees are a great way to meet other young professionals and make a difference in the community! Now more than ever organizations like the Jaycees serve an important role in keeping people connected and engaged in the community. \n\nThe Jaycees is an empowerment organization for those between the ages of 18 to 40 whose mission is to create development opportunities that empower young professionals to create positive change.
